310 stainless steel square tube is austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. Stainless steel through the local oxidation of chromium to make it antioxidant, in the process of local oxidation of chromium, can form a very stable oxide (Cr2O3 chromium oxide). As long as the chromium content of the metal is sufficient, a continuous layer of chromium oxide green can be formed on the surface of the metal to prevent the generation of other oxides, and the metal plays a protective role. The oxidation resistance of austenitic stainless steel can be deduced from the chromium content. High temperature resistant alloys contain at least 20% chromium (weight percent). Replacing the iron component with a nickel component also usually provides the alloy's performance at high temperatures. 310 is a high-alloy material and, as such, has fairly good oxidation resistance.
