Pre-painted steel is a bare metal substrate or corrosion resistant substrate that is painted on both sides by a continuous coil coating process to produce a uniform finish. In this process, the metal is unrolled, cleaned and chemically treated. Depending on product specifications, one or both sides can be primed and coated, oven cured and rewound.
Pre-painted steel sheets consist of a steel core, metal coating, primer and topcoat.Galvanized and Galvalume (Aluzinc) is used as the base material, and after surface pretreatment, painting, baking and cooling, an organic protective film is formed on the steel base material. It has strong durability, corrosion resistance, decorative and forming properties.Pre-painted steel sheets can be used for advanced forming operations such as roll forming, bending and deep punching. Processing such as cutting, roll forming, bending, and folding can be performed. Pre-painted steel sheet is primarily used for roof and wall cladding, but it is often given a load-bearing function for wall, roof and floor structures as well.
