Classification:

Aluminum tubes are mainly divided into the following categories

• According to the shape:square tube, round tube, pattern tube, shaped tube, global aluminum tube.
• According to the extrusion method: seamless aluminum tube and common extrusion tube

Characteristic:

A kind of high strength hard aluminum, can be heat treated and strengthened, in annealed, just quenched and hot state plasticity is medium, spot welding weldability is good, with gas welding and argon arc welding aluminum tube has the tendency to form intergranular cracks; aluminum tube in quenching and cold hardening machinability is still good, in the annealed state is bad. Corrosion resistance is not high, often using anodic oxidation treatment and painting methods or surface cladding aluminum layer to improve corrosion resistance. It can also be used as mold material.
