Aluminum tube is a kind of non-ferrous metal tube, which is made of pure aluminum or aluminum alloy extruded and processed into a hollow metal tube material along its full length in the longitudinal direction.

It can have one or more closed through-holes, uniform wall thickness and cross-section, and delivered in straight shape or in rolls. Widely used in automobile, ship, aerospace, aviation, electrical appliances, agriculture, electromechanics, household and other industries.

Aluminum tubes are mainly divided into the following categories
According to the shape:square tube, round tube, pattern tube, shaped tube, global aluminum tube.
According to the extrusion method: seamless aluminum tube and ordinary extrusion tube
According to the precision: ordinary aluminum tube and precision aluminum tube, where the precision aluminum tube generally need to be reprocessed after extrusion, such as cold-drawing precision extraction, rolling.
According to the thickness: ordinary aluminum tube and thin-walled aluminum tube
Performance: corrosion resistance, light weight.

A high-strength hard aluminum, can be heat-treated to strengthen, in the annealed, just quenched and hot state plasticity is medium, spot welding weldability is good, with gas welding and argon arc welding aluminum tube has the tendency to form intergranular cracks; aluminum tube in quenching and cold hardening machinability is still good, in the annealed state bad. Corrosion resistance is not high, often using anodic oxidation treatment and painting methods or surface cladding aluminum layer to improve corrosion resistance. It can also be used as mold material.
